We are a modest multi-gamin clan that mainly plays Guild Wars 2, Minecraft, Path of Exile, and PlanetSide 2

There are several distinct features to Alliance That Says "Kerfuffle!" (other than our obsession with the most awesome word in the English language), encapsulated in five principles:

1. Open Membership: We accept all prospective members without discrimination based on age, nationality, or any other qualities that have nothing to do with the person's fitness to be an active clan member.

2. Member Control: We are entirely member-run through direct democracy. All members have equal participation and voting rights.

3. Equality: Members enjoy relative equality with other members in privileges and treatment. A subset of officers are given higher authority to enforce the rules and make minor decisions speedily. But they must abide by
membership decisions and are accountable to the membership.

4. Due Process & Equal Protection: Members are given basic due process rights and equal protection when accused of misconduct.

5. Maturity & Common Community: We strive to make our clan have a sense of community where every member can feel comfortable and respected. The "maturity" we expect is based purely on behavior: how members act around others, rather than a particular age (we accept members of all ages).

Why do we say "kerfuffle," you might ask. Why not? There's hardly a more awesome word in this very diverse language we share.

Interested in joining us? All are welcome, though you may have to say "kerfuffle!" more than you're used to. You're welcome to hang out with us on our forums or in-game so that we get to know you. If you seem nice and show your interest, we'll initiate you into our dark mysteries and officially call you a fellow member.
