ABOUT 1:1 Trading

Trading: Done Right.

Where fair trading is done and greedy traders are cast out!

Group Guidelines:

1. Trade Fairly
Although that sounds simple enough for an honest trader, there are some things to consider; While trading you should look up each of the cards current values on the community market, this is to avoid mistaking an offer as an unfair trade when really the values of the cards make it a fair trade.

2. Trade Values
The majority of the trading community works with the current rough value of a card governed by the market price. It's not a must that you trade by this system, but it is highly recommended when trading cards in this group.

3. Treat Others with Respect
Lets keep it friendly, there's no need to insult anybody over a bad trade offer.

4. No Begging
Trading posts may not solicit extra cards, emoticons, backgrounds, games, in-game items, gems, or donations.

5. Report Unfair Traders
Whilst 1:1 Trading's moderation does their best to keep the groups members reserved for fair 1:1 traders, members can help out by reporting threads or contacting an admin with reports of unfair traders in group.

6. Happy Trading!
Trade to your hearts content! Or until you run out of cards from all your new badges?

The New Cheap/Free Games Forum
Why The New System
The Cheap/Free Games Thread started because a lot of us wanted to share these giveaways since a lot of those free games dropped cards we could use to trade. But different people wanted different things from the thread. Some wanted to be able to talk about the giveaways and ask questions or comment on the game. Other people wanted to only get a notification when a new game was posted and did not want to see a bunch of notifications containing random chatter, which can make it harder to tell when a new giveaway is posted.

The admin team here accepts both points of view as valid, and we have tried a couple other systems before this one to try and find a way to resolve the issue without blowing off one side or the other.

Our first attempt was to cross-post all the giveaways into a chatter-free thread, but that failed when people just sort of got tired of cross-posting.

Our second attempt was to ask all the chatter be put into its own chatter thread and leave the main thread alone for games only, but we had an awful lot of people who either did not read the rules, or forgot about them. We therefore had to delete posts very frequently and people were still getting spammed with unnecessary notifications.

This third attempt came up as an idea as I was wishing there was some way to mark a post as an "important" post where it sends out a notification (while non-important posts do not), and becomes easier to find. It'd be really nice if there was some way to even hide unimportant posts so you just see a list of all the important ones. Finally I realized... A sub-forum. I was thinking of a sub-forum. That is how a sub-forum works.

It is our hope that this system will be less spammy to those who wish to see less notification spam, while still allowing everyone to talk as much as they want about any given giveaway or the game within. I understand this new system may take a little getting used to at first, and I thank you all for your cooperation while we try something different here.

Its about Nosgoth card. Are the values of non marketable cards on SCE accurate or should I consider something else too in such cases?

Is there anyone online here? I have one question about 1 nmc card
Easiest way to make sure it's a safe link is to copy and paste the link in a notepad and check if it's safe, you can tell what a legit Steam trade link looks like.
That has been a problem since last year, but more and more accounts are getting stolen and VAC account are being sold and bought by scammers and they add those link to their profiles.

Also be careful with trade links left in profiles. It appears, there were cases lately, where links to external phishing sites were masked in a way, that neither the warning window nor the [website]-appendix showed up. Don't know, if that problem has been fixed already.
Best to double-check via browser mouseover, if the linked page is actually still within Steam.

Only if they provide it. Check the forum for a trade thread, or add them as a friend to send an offer.
