I guess it comes down to the best platform for GGD discussion. I think Steam has a lot of value/potential for providing gamer-distinct ways to interact (chat room, cloud screen shots, directly link to workshop mods, etc.), but its drawbacks, such as limited use on mobile platforms, tend to overwhelm whatever pros they have over using Facebook. I suppose it's up to the rest of the group to weigh in.
