Report a translation problem
The original is very stable but is unbalanced and the AI cheats like hell (buying the best guards in every province while their economy can't sustain such upkeep). I have only played Broken Worlds and genesis.
Broken worlds is similar to genesis, better graphics, same campaign but buggy and UI is clunky. New horizons fixes balance issues, AI behaviour and adds tons of content, races can have their own neutral province now (no mixed armies) and you can ally with them. Units can now level to a much higher cap. NH is the way to play Genesis and much better than Broken Worlds. Not sure how it compares to Imperium. I have asked this 3 years ago on the forum:

Pretty much everything you say re: Broken Worlds still applies to Imperium.
I hope they fix the issues of the previous titles. SO much potential and innovation there that went unrealized.
I'm willing to bet $500 here and now that they won't fix anything really :D I do love the Eador games, but they've never really shown any inclination to fix the problems that plague them.
