🚨 Space Engineers Server: Purge Feature Announcement 🚨
May 11, 2025 - Pickle G | 0 Comments

Greetings, Engineers! 👨‍🚀👩‍🚀
We’re rolling out a new Purge Feature on our Space Engineers server starting on the 13th May 2025 at 6am! This feature will help keep the server clean and optimized by removing grids with default names. Here’s what you need to know:

📅 Start Date
The Purge Feature begins 13th May 2025 at 6am and will run every 2 hours.

🧹 What the Purge Does
The purge will automatically delete any grids with default names (e.g., "Small Grid 123", "Large Grid 456"). This clears out abandoned or forgotten grids that can slow down the server.

⚠️ Protect Your Grids
To save your creations, rename all your grids to something unique. Follow these steps:

Go to the Info tab in your grid’s control panel.
Change the default name (e.g., "Small Grid 789") to something custom, like "StarCruiser" or "Base Alpha".
Ensure all your grids (ships, stations, rovers, etc.) have non-default names.

Warning: Grids with default names will be permanently removed during the purge. Check your grids now to avoid losing your work!

✅ Why Implement This?

Better Performance: Fewer unused grids means less lag and smoother gameplay.
Cleaner Server: Named grids help us track active player creations.
Improved Experience: Keeps the server fair and fun for everyone.
