There's a 0% chance that I will be releasing a new version any time soon, lol... so you might as well set it to disabled to be on the safe side.
The other ini holds a list of versions from Github and can be skipped.
EDIT: Or the settings menu it seems, I'm behind on all the features added to that. :)

Yes, that is correct. I have never officially released 0.6.0 of this mod. You can install it manually. It's also built-in to the global injector version of Special K.
The easiest thing to do would be to take SpecialK64.dll from one of the official releases of Special K[github.com], rename it dxgi.dll and replace the DLL that comes with the officially released version of SUS.
I had the white screen problem, so I both set the frequency to "never" and replaced the dxgi.dll file with the renamed SpecialK64.dll of version 0.9 of SpecialK.
now, every time I open the game, a window appears telling me that there's a new version of SUS. how do I make it stop appearing?
edit: ok, it wasn't super clear but that slider with "show startup banner" written next to it was the amount of seconds that the banner was going to be displayed for. I've set it to 0 and now I'm good.
I restored the dxgi.dll from the 0.6.0 release of SUS because the other one sometimes crashed my game. let's see if the crashes happen with this one too. oh and let's hope the white screen problem doesn't appear after 6 hours...
edit #2: I still get crashes sometimes. they happen either as soon as the game's window appears or after the screen becomes black, shortly after the steam overlay notification appears. the odd thing is that the crash.log file only contains this:
02/25/2018 18:30:19.128: Disabling Steam Breakpad...
I guess I should give another try to the dll of version 0.9 of SpecialK because I think it crashes less often... but what should I try, otherwise?
