Who Are We?

We are the Never Rust Alone community, a branch of the Never Game Alone community. We own the "Never Rust Alone" server which can be found on the community section of the server lists. Our Admins are N.G.A AndyHatter & N.G.A JackalTaco if you have any questions or wish to join our community then message them via Discord or Steam and they will reply as soon as possible.

What Can You Expect From The Group?

Wish to know more about N.R.A's upcoming events and changes? Then join our steam group and receive information about our future plans for the server. This includes owner blogs, and polls for how YOU! want to shape the server. Invite your friends and family because in this community you will Never Rust Alone!

Changes To The Server On May 5th

This is just a short update on what to expect in this months update [not including game changes].

Group Player Limits

Many of our players have been asking for a group player limit as there have been numbers of groups dominating the server. From May 5th the group limit shall be set to a maximum of 4 players.

Alliances are allowed however, no more than 4 players are permitted to base underneath one base. This includes but is not limited to compounds and other such structures. If an Admin suspects your group is made up of more than 4 players then he/she has the right to launch an investigation into the matter.

We Are No Longer An UK/EU Server!

We have decided to open the server to players around the world rather than limit ourselves to a EU player branch. This is to improve our numbers on the server and to give our players the chance to group with and interact with a range of people from different ethnicites.

Joining / Leaving Messages

Our Head Admins are working constantly to make the server a better place for our players and to give a greater experience than any other server can. That's why we have been adding small changes such as Joining and leaving messages. These messages will greet and depart players joining and leaving the server. This code also include a friendly message and the player who is joining/leaving's name.

This Months Server Wipe

April 5 Server Wipe!

As many of you know today is the Never Rust Alone server wipe and we would love for you all to come and join us for the opening of it. There is no set time for the update to go live, but generally it’s between 3 and 5pm EST (7 and 9pm GMT). This announcement will tell you everything you need to know about the new map as well as some important changes to the game.

What Do I need To Know?

This wipe we have upgraded our map size from 4000 - 4700 this will give players a lot more space to build and gather resources without getting shot.

This is important as this wipe we are going to be more relaxed with KOS on the server as we feel it took away the very elements of what makes Rust a survival game. However we do ask that if you see nakeds, try not to kill them if possible we want players to have a start on the server so that they may join us in the future.

(Be careful of who you kill, there are known to be groups of 5+ people on the server and if you have caused any trouble with one of these groups then expect retaliation to your actions.)

What Has The Update Brought?

Boats Added
"A new form of transportation is here which allows people to travel faster than ever before! After the update, ‘Rowboats’ will start spawning around the map on all servers. Although they cannot be crafted, you’ll have the opportunity to find one of around 65 per server which spawn near rivers, beaches, and lighthouses.

Long and short: They run on low grade fuel, seat up to 4 people, move at a nice click, and have storage for 12 items."

Floating Junk Piles
"Boats aren’t the only new thing you’ll be seeing as you gaze across the waterways in Rust - floating junk piles now litter the coastline. Like their roadside cousins, these water piles of junk feature a random assortment of barrels, wooden crates, and toolboxes.

Scientists At Junkpiles
"Those boys in blue (radsuits) have received some upgrades this month. Along with shifts in the brain department, they will now spawn near junkpiles, making them much more prevalent around the map."

Chinook Server Event
"The newest server event has arrived. Still a work in progress, the CH47 will be patrolling your local Rust server once the update hits. Piloted by NPC scientists, this dual-rotor helicopter flies around the map, patrolling monuments, eventually dropping a locked crate.

Several other scientists accompany the pilot, firing off rounds at Newmans as they spot them. Once they find a valid drop zone, they release a crate (similar to an airdrop). Unlike an airdrop, however, this crate is locked and stays as such until someone starts 'hacking' it (by pressing use) then waiting for the subsequent timer to unlock."
