What is the Global Operations Force?

We are a casual group of players that enjoy a variety of games, although we specialize in tactical Arma gameplay. We’re looking for loyal, mature players that enjoy cooperation and have a sense of humor.

What games does GOF play?

GOF focuses on Arma 2 gameplay, as well as Arma 3.

What’s different about GOF?
--------------------------------------------------------

GOF has a lot of features that make it stand out among its competitors in the Arma community. Unlike most realism groups, we do not aim to recreate a real unit or model ourselves after the armed forces of any specific country. Instead, we think of ourselves as an independent, virtual paramilitary company: combining pseudo-corporate structure and efficiency with military. Rather than apply for an obscurely-named MOS, our members can attempt to obtain certifications in their preferred field without the need to limit their gameplay experience.

Why should I join GOF?

We offer not only a realistic and cooperative Arma experience, but also a variety of unique organizational amenities and perks. We own a dedicated Teamspeak server and host Arma missions on a regular basis.

What rules do I need to follow?
--------------------------------------------------------

GOF only has a few major precepts: be mature and be respectful. Although these rules are quite simple, they will be strictly enforced. Failure to comply with these basic guidelines will result in removal from the group.

What do I need in order to sign up?
--------------------------------------------------------

To join GOF, you will need the following:

-Arma 2: Combined Operations (A2+OA)
-A working microphone (some exceptions can be made)
-Be at least 15 years of age (no exceptions will be made)
The following will also be needed after joining, although we can help you set these up:

Teamspeak 3
-Arma 2 ACE mod
-Arma 2 ACRE mod

Once you have all of these prerequisites, you should fill out an application. You will be contacted shortly after doing so.
