The 82nd Airborne Division, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment is a World War II realism unit for Arma III. Created by long time members of the Arma WWII community, the 82nd brings years of experience, research, and dedication all to one place. What sets us apart is our drive to respect and recreate the trainings, battles, and environments that U.S. Army paratroopers experienced from 1941-1945. Here is a list of some of what the 82nd proudly offers.

⦁ The Grand Campaign: Our flagship experience, follow in the footsteps of Paratroopers from the 82nd through Sicily, Italy, Normandy, Holland, the Ardennes, and Germany. Created with great detail and care by our team of historical researchers, the Grand Campaign offers a WWII experience like no other.

⦁ Historically Accurate Trainings, Procedures and Structure: We pride ourselves in teaching and practicing historically correct tactics, skills and maintaining a historic unit composition and rank structure. While adjusted for Arma III, we use period correct manuals, accounts, and tables of organization to ensure we are getting as close as possible to history.

⦁ Marks System: Carefully designed to be flexible and concise, the Marks System is our promotion and disciplinary system all in one, giving each member an easily trackable log of their progress in the unit and showing step by step how they can achieve their goals.

⦁ Weekly Events: Each week hosts a number of events within the unit. From company trainings, to operations, PvPs and Grand Campaign deployments, there is always something to do in the 82nd.

⦁ Variety of Positions, Roles and Jobs: We offer a land of possibilities within the 82nd. Members have a large selection of historically accurate roles and jobs to fill. From riflemen, to machine gunners, radio operators to medics, squad leaders to platoon leaders, and even pilots in our Air Force branch, there is something for everyone!

⦁ North American and European Friendly: Having a wonderful community of members from around the world, we schedule all our times for events and trainings to be as globally friendly as possible.

⦁ Custom Mods and Missions: Our dedicated mission making team and modding team work to ensure the unit has fresh, playable and accurate content at our fingertips.

⦁ Community is at the Heart of Our Mission: Our goal is to create a like minded community of video game lovers, amateur historians, and casual enthusiasts alike. Though we are structured like a realism unit and offer a military experience, we welcome everyone and aim create an environment that emphasizes learning, camaraderie, fun, and enthusiasm.
