Information About The 24th Regiment of Foot.

On 22 January 1879, during the Zulu War, 5 companies of the 1st Battalion & 1 company of the 2nd Battalion were at iSandlwana where they were overwhelmed by the Zulus. Following on from their success at iSandlwana, the Zulus attacked Rorkes Drift where there was only one company of 2nd Battalion 24th Foot. The Zulus were unable to take the post despite their overwhelming numbers and retreated.


The 24th In AZW: Reloaded

The 24th began life on the old V0.04 of AZW. Which at the time was a "dead" mod at the time. The 24th thrived, soon becoming the first 100 strong Regiment on AZW. With the 24th going from strength to strength it continued to expand Detachments. With 24th, 58th, Scots, Lights, Rifles, Artillery, General Staff Corps.

The 24th Now

Now the 24th focuses on promoting the mod to ensure its survival. We host weekly public events.
