A mismatch of random genres with no actual story beats or meanings to justify or enhance them. The story doesn't link together narratively and is just a bunch of random dialogues with no hook or setup (including no introduction in the prologue). The gameplay includes running from one end of the map to the other for an objective marker. I died to a boss due to being under-equipped even though I looted everything on the way. Just to run across the map again (with respawned enemies) because there is no direct fast travel. That's right they use the open world as filler time. This is also seen in the large amount of the same few enemies they throw in every 20 meters or so. On the topic of repetition, it uses the same couple of "scares" again and again.

Lived up to the other poor-quality games I've come to expect from Hypetrain Digital Publishing. This one and all others I've played have this certain half-attempt, poor direction, and imitation feel to them.

Played through with friends, had a blast.
It's obvious taste is subjective, since I do not understand tha bad reviews at all ^^
I had fun and I'll do a second playthrough shortly.
Try it,, refund it or keep it.. all good, you do you =)
