The problem with Dofus and Wakfu is that you can't play them with a single character for long before it gets unreasonably hard to progress. Everything about Dofus and Wakfu is designed for full parties: the loot drop rate, the XP, and the difficulty of dungeons.

What happens when you don't have anyone to group with? You can't really play anymore. Wakfu tried to solve this with the subscription benefit where you can play as multiple of your characters at once, but for most people that's way too much to manage at once. What if you just want to play as 1 character? Ankama didn't have any game that fulfilled this desire, until Waven.

In Waven, you could play solo or with one friend and actually progress normally and do all of the content, because it's entirely designed for solo/duo play. So it scratched the build-making and min-maxing itch of Dofus and Wakfu, but it let you play at your leisure without having to rely on 7 other players being present in battle.

But now, Waven won't scratch the same min-maxing itch, so it makes sense that there's backlash. I'm fairly open-minded about it because I think it'll still offer enjoyable turn-based gameplay with good music and visuals, but unfortunately the game won't really fix the problem it was meant to fix anymore. At least, not as much as it used to.

Sorry for derailing your thread. It is annoying but probably not practical. Enforcement would require a lot of people which would reduce profits. I wouldn't be surprised if they make spawn points no build zones, unless that seriously impact performance.

Hey, I've just started new save, and got a relic for split shot, but I cannot see splitshot in the skills 'altar', it was present on the skills 'bar', but I've moved by accident and now cannot use splitshot.

Once again, I never expected the players not to abuse it, I was just trying to explain why we shouldn't, but since behaviour said and they said I can't even bother on trying to convince people not to do it, because it looks like we have to in order for them to wake up.
And nope, you can't convince me that you're playing killer regularly in these conditions, don't even try.

What is the point of a game that's 1st boss is so difficult that it isn't worth putting the time in to progress. 30 minutes of game play and in the trash. Thanks.

I know it's only for ranked, but the hot drop mentality still happens there. Not sure what ranks you're playing at, but in Diamond/Masters it's a real problem. People get hardstuck in D4 and then get tilted and actively sabotage the games for their squad mates.
