I wanted to take a moment to remember the Battlefield 4 beta, which was released over 12 years ago. I still have it on my old Xbox 360! Despite the limited hardware available at the time, DICE managed to create an amazing gaming experience that many of us loved.

Fast forward to 2025: We have much more powerful consoles and PCs. It’s disappointing that we can't deliver a similar or better experience now, especially given the issues surrounding Battlefield 2042.

Many of us are hoping that DICE can recapture the magic of Battlefield 3 and 4.
I might be retired and have kids of my own before we see a game that captures that spirit again. It can’t be that hard, right? A whole decade later?

Quite a few folks are focusing in on high-end rare endgame rifles. Midgame, though? I like the Tac PKT-55B.

If you like making stealthy, suppressed headshots, then as far as firearms you're likely to be able to trade for, the Tac PKT-55B does yeoman's work through the midgame until you find a higher-end rare rifle. It is an absolute tack-driver in terms of accuracy, and the low mag size isn't usually an issue for a sneaky-peeky sniping profile, as it reloads quickly and you have plenty of time to reload while relocating. Occasionally someone will need two shots to take out, but for the most part if you point it at a head, that head is going down.
