this fixed it for me i have amd rx 6700xt

WIndows 10, RX 6800 XT, this also fixed the issue for me. I had no "HwSchMode" at all, added it, restart PC, get into Stellar Blade and the frame gen option no longer locked!

It's strange why they have made this change, I'm on my 3rd play through of the game, over 100 hours, and I was able to switch frame gen on and off as well as a load of other settings before, without issue....

I agree, Devs, please add this into the game.
