really annoying, not what i expected from this game

The Meet Your Match update and its introduction of the Casual Matchmaking System have been a disaster for the TF2 playerbase.

it's hard to say, based off this game, how big a difference there is between a regular human and a space marine- this game doesn't really measure stats the same as it is in tabletop anyway. Ulfar isn't a good representation of a space marine in terms of stats, considering even one of those guys - and not a special case at that - could kick through a wall, throw a grenade like 200 meters easily, or run faster than a speeding car, they're like superheroes according to most lore (though tabletop stats put them roughly 30% better than a regular human, like wth??). It would break the balance of the game to give you companion with stats off 100 -200 in everything, but then, that would be lore accurate.

SO, with that said, I would think that any stat you have that's over 50 would be like "I'm pretty good at that for a regular dude". Over 100 would be considered the top percentile of normal human capability. Anything around 150-180 would be like space marine level stats. 200-300 would be getting into custodian territory, anything past that is like primarch level or a greater daemon, i think, and I could be entirely lowballing that.

I have a hard time believing the stats when you start round 2 with a fully buffed up character. Lookin at you argenta, with your fired up + officer buffs giving you like 500 agi. 500 agi is like anime-tier, like naruto wall-running faster than a speeding bullet 200 punches per second, or dodging like Saitama.

It's fun for a bit, but there's not much to actually do. The loop is simple, fight or complete missions that usually equate to go here and kill that, then upgrade your ship and repeat.
The only thing that changes is how powerful your foes are, and how many of them you will fight at once.
Enemies just tend to rush you or pull back, there's not much actual strategy required most of the time, just either you're faster than them or they're faster than you, or you out damage them or they out damage you. It's a pass/fail combat system.

There's some non combat quests, like delivery quests, but other than that there's no much to really do yet.

Ship building can be interesting, but do to the simplicity of the AI and combat systems it tends to devolve into "how much firepower can I slap the enemy with at once."
None of the deeper combat systems are implemented yet, like boarding or transforming ships. Well, other than the overclock system but that doesn't really change combat all that much, instead just increasing ways in which you can build your ship.

Yep, getting toxic and tilting the team is literal sabotage. They want to win bad enough that they get angry over it, but all the're doing is ensuring defeat. Taking a break from the game and playing non-angry increases win rate.
