so i installed your basic LWOTC collectio and this collection, nothing else, i load the game with AML and started a a campaign, a played the tutorial mission, had to chose the first research , then i was forced to play another mission to get some thingy by the tutorial, after that when i open the workshop/enginering whatever its called on the ship during the tutorial it plays a little ingame video of shen fixing a drone and then i cannot close the workshop/enginering section, right click, the exit key, nothing closes it, i dont know if im supposed to build something before it lets me close but i dont have the materials to build anything.

what am i doing wrong?

This isn't Titan Quest. This is PoE 2 with more sun and pretty water.

my first attempt was ladybug armor and shield, mosquito needle sword.
i had done the entire statue garden in one go so my armor was on deaths door, and i had like 5 random smoothies left. (like 2 of them were hauling strength)

i got good at memorizing the attack patterns, but i was still struggling, though got quite close a couple times, just screwed by lack of healing/buffs and broken armor in the last part of the fight.

i went back home, used the snail shells you can loot in the statue to make tier 3 snail armor, and crafted about a dozen smoothies specifically for buffs to counter relevant status effects.

with just that, the fight went from a sweat fest, to downright easy. and thats still with tier 2 weapons.

so id say tier 2 is perfectly fine, just check your durability and have some healing. if you want an easy fight go for tier 3.

I beat it,took about 10 tries maybe 1 or 2 less wasnt counting but i used the ant club, gloom skewer ladybug armor and shield. the first and second phase wasnt bad it was the wolf spider but i managed with no spicy protection or fresh weapons.

Of course it is POSSIBLE but using the Fresh Scepter and Sizzling Armor makes the fight MUCH easier. The ORC Grenade made the Wolf Spider easier than an Ant as well. It never got an attack because the ORC Grenade stuns it. I beat the Stranger easily on my 1st attempt using those (died twice using Ant Club and Weaver Daggers and Acorn Armor before running ALL the way back to base to change setup)

I think Gatobob did her due diligence with applying warnings as explicitly as possible. The rest is up to the player to protect themself. I'm sorry you felt bad after experiencing the game, but the developer has been very thorough with their warnings.

I agree, its why i'm not blaming her for anything, I've played a few dark games like this in the past but this one hit me way stronger than anything else ever has. so hard that i'm just stuck.. i don't know what to do other than ride it out. The main reason i put this here really is to just get feedback and try to get some support from other people who have played the game, since i'm not about to ask my family or close friends to play it.

No. The game is great as it is. It doesn't need Ubisoft type of bloat where there's some stupid menial activity covering every square inch of the map. I'm glad the game wasn't designed for the ADHD crowd.

I could swear I've gibbed 3 enemies with rockets plenty of times.

1. Realistically, why WOULD the monster stop chasing you? The fact that they eventually do stop is what bothers me.
2. Different enemies have different ways to notice you. The fast moving enemies you can't really sneak up on. Nor the turret type enemies with 360 sensors. You need to learn which can be snuck on.
3. That's just a dumb take, period. Linear better? Less is better?

I hope for OP's sake that this a joke. Grab a bow/staff if it's really giving you trouble.
