Truck steering wheel turning is just amination, it does not affect truck control. If you just want get rid of animation - decrease steering animation range to 900. If you want more smooth truck turn - decrease steering sensitivity

Why do you think most PC builders will recommend changing your PSU after around 5-6 years?

Because PC builders are idiots and because idiotic things that make people spend money aren't going to be corrected.

If I sold PSUs I want idiots to buy more of them. That's why Nvidia give such ridiculously overspecced GPU requirements with their cards, and yes, why people tell you replace stuff that's working perfectly fine.

If you can be convinced to overspend why would anyone want to change that?

Sure, you can, why do you think the menu fps limiter is there in the first place?

Like I said, most likely because some parts of the team had too much time on their hands while the rest of the team were incredibly busy. They wanted to fill the game waiting and started looking for non-features to add.

Note that, if you think about this, 90% of the time you're in the game not the menu.

i.e even if people are pudding headed enough to believe the lifespan of their GPU is somehow tied to the FPS in the menu- this difference would be insignificant.

It'd be like peeing in the dark at home even though you spend all evening in a fully lit room imagining that you were 'saving electricity' by coating your bathroom walls with urine and tripping over the bath.

And, like I said - THE GAME ALREADY LETS YOU LIMIT THE FRAMERATE. The DRIVER LETS YOU DO THIS. IF YOU WANT TO LIMIT YOUR FRAMERATE YOU CAN.

The problem here is that - when you TURN OFF that option IT STILL LIMITS THE FRAMERATE. Surely with your <sarcasm mode on> decades of technical skill you can see why that makes no sense - even if you believed the limit achieved something.

The only whining they needed to reduce wasn't from coils it was from people waiting for the update to land.

Okay, thank you for the tips, I'll give it a try this weekend and see if I manage to overcome this scenario. In any case let me say that I really like the game and its peculiar mechanics, and that I find amazing having the Dev replying to me in less than a day!

UE is the new Unity, everyone uses yet almost no one knows how to properly optimize, that`s to say, they did a hell of a job with this. Don`t forget RE engine has incredibly low distance for full frame movement, so you can see zombies and other NPCs in the distance move at cartoon frames. While closeups and local area is incredibly detailed it`s not made for bigger open spaces and a lot of moving things.
