I’ve played DBD long enough to remember when Borrowed Time used to protect you if you unhooked someone, when Medkits were worth bringing, when Self-Care wasn’t a meme, and when maps actually had enough safe loops to survive more than 10 seconds in a chase. Over the years, almost every strong Survivor tool — perks, items, and even the maps themselves — has been gutted:

Borrowed Time – once activated for yourself too; now just a shadow of its former self.

Decisive Strike (DS) – from a game-changing anti-tunnel perk to a short, situational stun.

Dead Hard – from a reliable second chance into a risky, frame-perfect gamble.

Mettle of Man, Iron Will, Self-Care, Botany Knowledge, Distortion – all drastically weakened.

Boon: Circle of Healing – used to let you self-heal without a Medkit; now requires one and can be snuffed in seconds.

General healing – slower base heal time, Medkits nerfed multiple times, solo queue punished hardest.

And it’s not just perks:

Maps and loops – safer loops removed, strong pallets gone, more dead zones than ever, map reworks that favor killer patrol paths.

Generator gameplay – speed slowed down, more regression tools for killers, less counterplay for survivors.

Meanwhile, killers have been showered with aura-reading perks, map-wide slowdown, stronger anti-loop powers, and better mobility — transforming DBD from a tense horror stealth game into a chase-heavy action brawler.

BHVR has taken a scalpel to Survivors patch after patch, but somehow keeps giving Killers more vision, more speed, and more tools. The “horror” in Dead by Daylight isn’t the killer chasing you — it’s watching the game you loved get dismantled one nerf at a time.

And still killers whining... what joke of a game.

@Grumpyface I reached wave 5 at around 5min 40sec in and i decided to just end it there by deleting all of my traps.

I have done the necessary download and file copying but have yet to get to a point where an achievement should have popped (I was silly and saved over my most recent save file yesterday at the end of a level (TR3: Area 51) so will have to complete it again). However, one thing I did notice was that my game had a moment of 'lag' when accessing the main menu screen after the update but this has now gone, so all signs are good.

I'm not particularly tech minded when it comes to these things and the instructions were clear and easy to follow so I would urge everyone to give it a go, even if unsure as not much can go wrong.

I will report back once I can confirm it worked or not.

Because Arena players aren't skilled. They are braindead, netdecking dorks who rely too much on other people's actual deckbuilding skills. Arena players are hyperdependant on removal, counters and other interaction.

I have an msi MB and i cant enable secure boot. Whenever I disable CSM my pc goes black whenever I try to access bios. Does anyone have a fix for this?
