He's not a Veteran. The series is older than him, if he's really 19. He's just spamming the weakest bait all over the forum.

Honestly never really had a problem with that fight myself, I find the dragon a pain in the ass instead. With the spider - as I play Human Jeanne a lot - just drop a barricade to soak up a turn of damage from unkillables, then slaughter them straight afterwards.

That looks like a source port such as Crispy or Chocolate DOOM, those ports used this interface back then.

Choco/Crispy modelled it after Dos versions' setup.exe, the selector was there since 1.666 ver. not in 1.2 ver., not sure in between, don't have those minor patches archived

This is definitely frustrating when you are looking for a specific class and they never show up -- or worse they show up and have bad stats and traits. This is why I like the option to post vacancy notices in the Tavern to recruit specific classes with specific traits. It makes mid-game recruiting very straightforward.
