Absolutely not, monarchist path has alot more focus then fascist germany and seems way to slow in comparison- and losing the inner circle mechanic for new advisors is just not as good. Not to mention, your industry will be slower since you fight a civil war that at its quickest still lasts 5 months.

Monarchist/Democratic/Communist Germany is still strong, but Fascists remain the strongest path. They get the most bang for your buck in the quickest time.

The bigger issue is having to be told to decide for yourself. Read reviews, but don't take them as gospel and make up your own mind.

The developers considers skirmish as part of the multiplayer experience, since you can unlock the same rewards (pictures/etc) as if you play PvP. It is why you cannot play skirmish offline.
The only part of the game you can cheat is in the campaign, but it is highly advisable you do that in offline mode only. It removes all doubt that you are cheating in multiplayer.

I gave money to support the version of the game I was sold at the time. I did not give money to support a different version of the game. Its pretty simple stuff.

It is very simple. You put money in the closed beta which you've been playing for a year and now you can buy the steam version, or not.
