I cant get past literally the very first command of the tutorial. I do not have any cars/bullets i can load into the gun. Also i have only 6 health despite the game just starting.

Not really, if you understand that Jagex is made up of different groups of people, and they don't always agree with each other. E.g. the developers most likely didn't want partnerships, which is why they pushed for it to be polled, to show the higher-ups it'd be a really bad idea.

In contrast, pride events and body types were unpolled and added without prior announcement, because the ideological developers wanted them and knew those wouldn't pass a poll. If higher-ups had wanted them and the developers didn't want them, it's very likely they would've been polled (and similarly to partnerships, would've failed to pass a poll).

Finally, an example of an update that was unpolled as "integrity change" but still announced in advance was lowering the voting threshold from 75% to 70%. Most polls already passed with 75% threshold, and those that failed usually failed more than by just 5%, so it was really weird of Jagex to force that change in... especially since years prior, it was polled and failed:

Holiday/seasonal events like Pride are no longer polled, and it has been that way for years.

I would agree except there's plenty of evidence they rushed the release. Similar to the 4th age that's clearly missing. The only reason they waited on Britain was because having it as a Day 1 DLC release would have caused even more negativity. Britain was available to play by testers well in advance of the release, with no changes and they even released it as-is with a unique unit that was a re-skin.

They exactly stated the reason why Great Britain was not released in the base game in one of the livestream.

P.S. It was one of the livestreams that they were answering questions from the live chat.

Elf is more noticeable because she does not passively create space for the team via her melee stagger as none of her weapon does that even hm shield does not have access to shield bash. This mean her career outside of sott if she does not actively killing special or other things fast meant she contribute very little to nothing for the team and that perpetuate the impression she is selfish

Character like sienna, bardin, kruber have ult utility that can rescue while invisible/dash/aoe stagger, generate thp to team, share attack speed buff, damage reduction buff, create ammo or potion and provide passive support at all time with melee stagger but more importantly pulling massive horde aggro away with said stagger. They can contribute in a big way even if they are struggling to kill.

Salt before wp was similar to elf but even then whc had flail and billhook and was a far more generous career that buff teammate with crit and damage taken tag on enemy. The best the elf could try match that is a talent Regen that stop when you reach half of your hp or a hm that remember to rescue a down team

Her shade and hm have invisibility that can be spam but abuse often to aggro dump on cornered teammate and weaseling her way to safety she is build and played selfishly rightfully earn the reputation.
