What a strange convo. You are so expierienced at the game, probably a lot better, than I am, yet you refuse to admit that Penumbra is playable. I regret that I closed the window, I just won cov 10 Umbra/Banished run, with Penumbra as my champion against Savagery, the very thing you deem unplayable. Gluttony 2/ Monstrous 1 Penumbra, and the run was decided very early, I just stumbled into Mirror event and copied packed morsels 5 times. It was it pretty much. I also had an Avenger with Wynghs Shield as backup adclear, but it was pretty much it. I know, Umbra is weak, slow, space reliant, weaker due to unit limit, people dislike it, I get it. But saying its unplayable on Cov 10 is a blatant lie. Everything is playabe, the game is rng based after all.

I'm sure there's people who will say "it works out of the box", but I want to see what cool stuff an AMD GPU can do. For example, I know that things like FSR4 and Lossless Scaling are cool features that works well with AMD hardware. I'm grateful for any suggestions!

just install mesa and you should be good.
regarding fsr, it should work in games that support it. I've heard something about proton hacks to upgrade fsr 2 and 3 to fsr 4, but i didn't dive into it, as i have nvidia

persistent items or stats that carry over to new runs?
are there multiple maps in each zone?

The floodplains terrain graphics still looks bad, looks like a jungle. The rest, especially the mountains, are all great!

Its true my friend list none of them are actually real friends... got connected somehow but never interacted with any... and 2 of those account there is my brothers which i use for family sharing... but other than that.. its blank.. ITs really hard for me to get going so alone.... Games are only the reason i am trying to stay... uk... :)

I'm going to poke my head into the Hermitorium a bit later just to look around..

I'm always torn between coming back or waiting for 1.0. A few hours won't hurt.
