Having briefly walked round the SS United States, judiciously examining each information icon, whether they show a vintage photographs and caption or a commentary by Mike Brady with accompanying text, there are a number of glaring errors which have not been proof read properly.

Two examples: referring to a photograph of well-known people there is the aviatrix Amelia Aerhart (obviously the Dutch spelling!) and another referring to "designign" the ship.

Where a great deal of care has been taken in the presentation of the ships and the interface, this just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Hopefully this can be addressed simply by someone going through the text strings once more prior to the next update.

For the Vanilla D4 story, sure. I enjoyed it (until the end, but I won't spoil anything). Vessel of Hatred, though, has an absolute dogwater-tier story that ends at the half way point so they can sell you the second half later (probably next year).

Instead of using the most recent version, which at the time of writing is .96 or something, I used v0.43.6 directly from that link and it worked. v0.96 gave me an error about <name> being missing or something.

had this error too, you have to edit a file inside your project folder.

file name is:
package.json

open it and then edit the line where it says:
"name": "",

put the projects name of the project folder like:
"name": "Concord",

save the file.

after the error will be gone and Playtest works.

anyone encountering the same issue as mine above here is the fix:

In Steam:
Set RPG MAKER MV Version to 1.6.3

DL:
NWJS SDK Linux 64 bit version 102

Extract NWJS SDK into a "new folder":
copy the entire content of the "new folder" into:
nwjs-lnx
nwjs-lnx-test

Overwrite all content inside these folders.

in my case i was missing a package called GConf2

If you can't run the Playtest try to get GConf2 as follows:
open terminal / konsole and type your packagemangers install command.

fedora:
sudo dnf install GConf2

arch:
sudo packman -S GConf2

debian:
sudo apt install GConf2

if you run for some reason on an ancient version of debian:
sudo apt-get install GConf2

Lol it turns out I did too good the first round and I had to do worse for the other branch. So the top one you have to survive and for that you just have to play easy. The bottom one you have to git gud or spark combo him like crazy. You can tell the difference (so that you can pause and retry instead of eating the cutscenes after the fight finishes) when either krillin says "he's too much for me" (you're in survive path) or raditz says in battle "what? A power of 1037?!" (You're in wear down path)
