Remind devs that Early Access is meant to gather feedback.

People displaying unwelcome or uncivil behavior can be removed. If someone goes in for example, to pick fights with others, the dev, leave non-constructive unhelpful feedback or even try to harass a dev; theyre going to have a bad time.

If this is happening repeatedly, the advice is stay out of the hub, as the rest of the players from longterm to new don't seem to have any issues in the hub.

Unwelcome behavior can be a matter of preference if there is no oversight. That's the same type of language that racists used back in the day and even today.

Just an example of content that is accepted because these players were in favor of the game/devs:

"I don't care, man. Learn to play or find something else to spend your time on - get another hobby.

Try knitting. It seems more your speed."

"Winners rarely whine, while those who struggle tend to complain the loudest. This is true in all endeavors not just computer gaming."

"Go on, tell us more about how you're bad at playing the Viking-themed video game."

"Amen!"

"If people want help, advice, tips, and earnestly, genuinely ask for them, we'll give them. Everything else is a tempest in a teapot and doesn't merit any response other than ridicule."

What began as nuanced feedback and suggestions did eventually turn into non-constructive forms of criticism, albeit still factual. Such is the case when an entity or community fosters the type of environment seen above.

Uhh.. have you seen their updates and the majority of the responses? There's plenty of people that have issues with them, and it's only getting worse.

I'm skipping this one, I'm done with buying a new one every time. In my opinion, we should just get updates for the regular version.
But no new ones to buy, sorry Dove Tails, I'm done with it.

For context that was also the way BL1/BL2/TPS did it. The reason its that way (maybe, just a guess) is because the devs made a conscious choice to make difficulty an elaborate, full fledged experience which expand the gametime played. The main difference being that BL3 gave the players an easy option.

Ultimately difficulty is subjective and in my experience, the players on both sides of the spectrum tend to find themselves at almost mutually unintelligible levels of understanding as to what difficulty mean.

TLDR Borderlands are always relatively easy at first pass. Maybe BL1 was a bit harder than most? The start certainly was.

Just felt so bad that I had to complete that entire campaign ( I mainly play for the story) at such an easy-mode. For me, and my co op partner, it sapped the game of any fun.

I hope there is at least some decent scaling or a way to up difficulty above hard as you notice the game getting to easy

Make sure you use the clear mods option on launch to delete mods, then do not reinstall them. Console players cannot join modded lobbies.
