think about it - what is gained by a 100% server either way...
a 100% PvP server - can not exist without PvE elements (storyline, resource gathering, NPC's and basically every interaction that doesnt involve 2 players) so straight away it becomes a PvPvE server

a 100% PvE server - will either need to change or remove: shipwrecks, landsraad POIs, PvP zones, harkennon/atraidies outposts and restrict or ban any player created content involving PvP - no tournaments, no wars, no conflict (just harvest, build and bully NPC's) where is the community in all that

and before anyone says "no, we will have our own PvP content on our terms" then why not just play on a PvPvE server to begin with...

you misunderstand. what we're saying is;
INSTEAD of ruining the DD like the PvPers claim is happening by increasing PvE elements of the DD more and more.
REVERT the changes
Label the old school 90% PvP DD a PvP server and let PvP players continue playing how they like but.....
make PvE DD servers for people who don't want to play with murder hobos.

Let people choose how they want to play; why is funcom ruining the DD for PvPers to try and entice PvE players?

but how is choosing to go and collecting resources in the PVE deep desert rather then collecting resources in the PvP deep desert any different from choosing to collect resources in a PvE zone rather then collecting resources in a PvP zone??

each one involves the same process where the player chooses where they are going to collect the resources, theres no more risk being attacked in a PvE zone as there is a PvE server

so no honestly think it was not to get away from murderhobos (which are a rarity) but rather to lower the amount of time and effort those players had to put into accomplishing their goals of collecting resources
