Keep in mind enemy fleets can still attack your fleets if they are spotted. So if you spot an enemy fleet you cannot handle abandon missions and go to port.

Strike force is an intercept mission, meaning one of your other fleets or planes have spotted an enemy fleet and it will move to intercept. This is a great way to conserve fuel, but a horrible way for a fleet to earn xp.

If a strike force fails to launch on a spotted fleet then there is a few reasons:
- Your risk setting is is preventing engagement because the spotted fleet is dangerous compared to yours
- You lack the fuel
- You have ships being repaired

Personally I stopped using Strike Force and just tell my battle fleets to patrol or raid convoys and then let the enemy ships come after me instead. Especially since convoy raiding raises the chance the fleets can be spotted.

I'll sometimes name pup after what their coat makes me think of. For example, a black pup might be named Raven, Midnight, or Void. A light tan pup might be named Flurry, Candle, or Cloud. A dark gray pup might be named Stone, Shard, or River.

Naming the pups after a certain name theme is what I do most often. I have one litter named after breakfast foods, namely Pancake, Sausage, Cereal, Butter, and Marmite. One of my wolves often names their pups after birds, so far having Crane, Tern, Wren, and Duck. Another prefers flower names such as Tulip, Daisy, Violet, Iris, and Lupine.

I know some people either don't name their pups, or name them cute/silly pup names, and then change their name to something more meaningful when they get older. For example, if a pup later chased off a bear defending a carcass, you could name them Bear. Or if they seemed to like swimming you could name them River or Stream.

I just said some of the key details in my last post.

Simply opening up the .sav in a text editor shows "GVAS" as the first word. Doing the right Google search (one where it doesn't auto correct it into 'gas') says it is a standard Unreal Engine 4/5 save file format; with Github resources for it.

I also made a new save with the feature on, and semi-lucked out with a word search and found "CombineStashes" on one of the lines, but couldn't find it in my older saves. So it it is clearly a flag that you just add in for it to work.

The problem I have is how do you put that tag in to a preexisting file? I'm not sure what other bits of info are needed to make sure that tag gets read correctly, because clearly the .sav file is not entirely a plain text file. There is a GVAS reader (and Json converter), but it isn't something I can just plug into Notepad++ to translate it for me. Heck, I'm not even sure I have a program that could edit and save it properly, even though it feels like I'm really close.

And then there's the issue of how do you tell less tech savvy people to do it without messing up their save file?

Odds are this will be a mod, and a really easy one for a code monkey to make; or the dev can beat them to it and just add in another feature in the Cheat Menu.
