honestly I don't understand why someone would care about a game they don't like for 2 years. Like I can't even remember the games I didn't like 2 years ago... I couldn't even imagine caring how they are doing 2 years later or going around talking about it smugly trying to get a reaction... its just... weird. Its like you need to keep voicing your opinion on it to make it true... or something I can't really tell why someone would spend 2 years caring about a video game they don't like.

personally i'd rather just like... spend my free time doing things i like lol. Unless you enjoy disliking something loudly... in which case i'm sorry.

Edit to add lol: after thinking about it for a bit... if you lived to be 100 then you've spent 1/50 of your lifespan hating starfield enough to post on it 2 years after its launch... and most people don't make it to 100 so that fraction is bigger lol... like I feel bad but also thats such an absurd amount of your life span spent hating a video game lol.

The simple explanation for this is that some YouTuber makes a video saying "Starfield Bad," then the mindless NPCs come running to here to say, "Starfield Bad." None of them know why they think the game is bad.

I tried it with friends, where I didn't take any heat damage (but they did) and I didn't get it.
Then I tried a solo run, where (just to make sure) I got into the sun for just one tick of fire damage and completed the mesa without taking any further damage. Then I got the badge. Probably worth a try.

But please consider the possibility that you are in over your head and don't let over-confidence ruin you (along with ASE). Seriously, take a step back for a moment and think about this.

As others have said, just make version 358.x (the stable and functional version of ASE) permanently available and then do whatever you want with Aquatica. This solution will satisfy the vast majority of the people who are currently deeply frustrated about what's been happening.


Also, it would be a good PR move to never mention the 10 year thing again - WORST BIRTHDAY PARTY EVER!

This is the initial review bombing from the fanatics/devs and friends. Yesterday it was 88%, now 86%. Happens often on steam, give it one month and it will be in the mostly posivie, and a few months, in the mixed, where probably it belongs to. This type of trash mobile-like freemium monetization won´t do well for PC.

Sensitivity to noise stimuli reduced by 50%

Improved control over the brain—easier to pass QTEs against intrusive thoughts

Dream themes updated, significantly lowering the probability of being startled

Added indoor exercise routines, increasing average physical activity by 200% compared to the first half of the year (Well, the first half was pretty much spent lying around all day...)

Meanwhile, in early August, the developer repeatedly attempted to resume work on Eve of Soul. Tragically or laughably, however, within about 3–5 minutes of opening the project, symptoms would appear: flushed face and neck, accelerated heart rate, sweating forehead, difficulty concentrating, and nausea...

The developer isn’t entirely sure why these symptoms occur. For now, the plan is to keep trying to open the project file daily for desensitization training, while also seeking targeted solutions in future consultations with the doctor.
(The doctor’s current plan prioritizes Distress Tolerance Training from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which might help.)
