Most "varied" class

While the current item system can easily alter the gameplay of all classes significantly, some of the more impactful/powerful examples I've run across feel more like gameplay devolutions rather than evolutions (the timegem items being the biggest offender here, often changing your rotation to just holding down a single button) which probably goes against the spirit of your original question. With that in mind, I'd also answer sniper, given just how drastically this bunny's gems change the basic rotation beyond just doing the same pattern faster/slower or with skipped steps, as seen in other cases. It at least feels the least forced with the sniper's pool of upgrades, e.g.:

  • Primary changing from filler to priority damage with a charged emerald playstyle, or enabling sapphire secondary by applying burn with ruby primary.
  • Secondary having several options to change from manual timing to being cooldown-based (if leaning on cooldown reduction loot, or even a cooldown-stacking build), with an option to even be the main damage focus with the aforementioned sapphire gem (albeit with moderate item requisites).
  • Special at least has 1 or 2 options to switch up gameplay via garnet and emerald in obvious ways. While the option exists to obtain 100% uptime on special through gems and loot (and with how many of the more powerful items affect specials, it's hard not to go this route), I think this devolves your attack rotation as previously explained, and is hardly a concept unique to this class anyways. But in case you count that as part of varied gameplay, sniper can do it too

On the topic of gameplay, I'm looking forward to the gunner class that was teased earlier. Looks like a lot of fun

Base building disopintment
Originalmente postado por neo5apien:
Paradox is right. Your problems are solvable and base building can easily make you tens of millions of credits and an endless supply of most material crafting resources and trade goods.

1: Stop base attack waves by building BOTH an upgraded diplomacy module AND enough turrets. Around 3-4 turrets per production station with an upgraded diplomacy module set to peace protocol will fully prevent base attack waves.

2: Turret tech level can be increased by upgrading the turret and as the turret increases in level. Custom size 6 laser beam weapons with less than 100 heat per second can endlessly melt pirate face.

3: Location Location You'll at least want a basic coffee plantation setup. Pick a low level zone with at least grey ore and ice. Minable organic matter will help simplify the coffee production chain. Volatiles can help you fuel power plants to boost output and you can make chemicals out of them in a laboratory to boost refineries as you expand into different factory goods.

Personally, I truck the goods to station myself with my Donkey, because putting things on the market module seems to cause the price to drop very low. Once I'd make 30 million or so trucking ten thousand units of coffee (and a little robotics, computers, and bionics here and there) I decided to abandon my self sufficient base to perpetually stockpile coffee and metals for me while I adventured through the lvl50+ outer rim stars in search of better weapons, equipment, and blueprints.

Iam surprised by point 1 considering i have a medium base + 2 miners , fully upgraded diplo module and 6 medium + 6 light turrets and my % always goes up.
