The thing is people who dislike bubsy owned bubsy. We picked it up in a garage sell or something. Played or tried to play that first level, and let bored friends borrow it. Maybe that's where the base comes from.

But I think they are riding the gag of, making a bad game actually good. Because this game don't look to bad.

Before anyone defends bubsy 3d and brings up how bad the sequels were. Lot of us didn't get that far.

Difficulty is way too high in multi-player I've found. I had about 20 achievements and decided to play multi-player. I now have waaaay more, but I've died sooooooo many times, so they are awarded when I didn't do a single thing, and didn't want to be there any more as most of the ground is covered in green or orange, and you dash to get out of an area but you have no dash, or dash to run to someone's aid and end up running auto into an explosion or whatever else.

How do people find this fun? It should be about fun, not adrenaline, it's supposed to be a game and fun. I find no fun in constantly being dead and others just doing whatever and dragging me into a place whereby I get achievements without doing anything to earn them.

I dodge as much as I can, and it's never enough. There isn't enough time to dodge everything of course, but ugh.

Where's the fun?

I would add that, since you don't even own the game, there are far more approachable and better suited games for this particular build. Stormworks has its strengths, but this type of build isn't it. As Phil mentioned, check out Space Engineers. Empyrion also comes to mind.

Ever since Season 17 dropped, loading into the game has been extremely slow, and when I do load into the menu, my pirate does not load properly, the pirate emporium doesn't function at all, nothing. What DOES work is going into the game, but the shops do not work at all either. In some sick twist of humor I am even able to successfully join a friend's session but the same issues persist. At first I figured because it was a recent season drop that the servers were on high load, but even trying again on low traffic days it's still near unplayable.

My internet connection is extremely good, and I have tried everything from verifying my files (nothing is missing), reinstalling the game (what would even change?), logging out and back into my xbox account (it's probably not an authentication error), even making sure the game is allowed through the firewall (which it already was, I doubt it's an antivirus issue), but nothing I have tried has fixed the issue.

Telling me to do these things again is not helpful, if you are here to report that you're having the same issue, I'm sorry but that's not helpful at all either, please refrain from doing that. I am looking for real answers or at least some insight to the problem, I will provide as many details as I can if you can help me through that process, I don't entirely know what I'm doing but I'm trying my best.

Something I do know though is that this seems to be a Steam-only issue, my friend on another platform has no trouble logging in properly, maybe that can provide some clues as to what's going on.

idk if this could be a issue on your part or not, but is the game installed on a HDD or a SSD? HDD have lately been becoming impossible to use for gaming and SSD are kinda needed now, HDD are just to slow to transfer data. If it is installed on a SSD then, thats likely not the issue here. But i thought i'd bring it up anyway since you didn't list this as something you looked at.

I don't condone hacking or other antisocial behaviors, but this one is well deserved. This server browser has been problematic for so long.
