So i've put in a support ticket for the game as a suggestion of a possible solution to rampant cheaters, and i'd like to have a discussion on thoughts of it and perhaps some downsides.

I've mentioned to them the idea of having a paid version of DeltaForce, this would reduce the likelihood of cheaters in the payed version significantly as there really is no penalty to being banned on a free to play game, cheaters would be less likely to buy another copy for an alt account.

Issues:
- Now there might be some issues with this, for one this is the game admitting it has a cheater issue but what game doesn't have cheaters.
- Non payed lobbies are gonna be more saturated with cheaters, could be a blessing as they fight each other and get annoyed, but this also affects people who aren't willing to pay.

Is this a good idea?:
- Maybe, they get more money, we get some more clean lobbies.

This is an amazing beat em up, truly. I was really pleasantly surprised. I bought the GOG version since I still have credit there. I was so happy we could change the button assignments as I did not like the default at all, especially putting jump on B, so weird. I really like all the special attacks and I like how you made the counter attack system and the dash attack very different from the other brawlers, cause you need to press attack right when the dash starts, therefore learning and getting good with the timing is important. 4 characters to choose from, another plus. Combat feels very satisfying when the hits land and I think this may be the best beat em up I have played in a long while.
Even little touches like being able to end the combos with directions to send the enemy into the air, it's all very well thought out indeed.
I've only played the first stage thus far to decide whether I would keep it (no brainer) and the only thing I will say is I didn't like the music as I feel a brawler needs music with a bit more energy, but perhaps it improves in the later stages. Just my taste though, so, YMMV.

PS online would just top it all off, but again, it's inexpensive, so, we can't expect too much.

Since the game originally raised funds on the idea of being F2P and not having any P2W can those backers/founders request refunds? The game is now going to be P2P so that part is out the window and $20 per character could still be seen as P2W if they are busted on release. They took money and are delivering something different then what was promised. To me that seems to fit breach of contract law. This is a genuine question of mine as I fear these changes have opened them up to lawsuits / mass refunds request from the backers/founders when the game is already having money issues.

I hope that in the new part of the game you will introduce a redistribution of hero leveling, even for gold, even for a lot of gold, but it needs to be done. This was one of the main problems of the original game.

Steam Mods hate keys and that guide is kinda illegal (Cream API and DLC unlocking)

The savegames of Sacred 2 Gold are lying on your hard drive. At least it's the case for me. Don't know whether Steam can be forced to do it otherwise.
Maybe the upcomming remaster might have it.
