Bethesda is a for-profit company and Fallout 76 is a live service. Fallout itself is a product. Your entire hobby, even.

We already paid when buying the game, Whatever it costs Bethesda keeping their live service alive is irrelevant because pretty much other AAA game can have live services without needing to gouge more money out of their customers. I paid $0 for Forza Horizon 5, it's a live service game, and it gets constant updates but isn't selling me a monthly subscription. And if it's a live service product, then it shouldn't have a AAA price tag,

And Bethesda wants to do both, something RuneScape has done successfully since 20 years ago, but they can't even make good work. You can't even win at Fasnacht sometimes because even that simple yet incredibly popular event is bugged. I played the OG Fastnacht and can't believe they haven't fixed ♥♥♥♥ in all these years.

Everyone playing 76 expects something because they paid, at least, the purchase price which is that of a AAA game. We live in a transactional world, yes, and that's why Bethesda is falling so far the competition: because they turn microtransactions into disappointment.

Your head is so far up your arse, your body is a hat.
Forza is monetized through expansions, microtransactions, but it also doesnt require persistent server hosting or have anywhere near the same expectations.
At the end of the day, your 'online live service' is a racing game, mostly client-side and comparably barebones.

So Empire gave me 4 champions for a quest.
The moment they arrive they instantly got mental breaks. Because they think they are rich now and want to enjoy rich life, instead of just doing their job and get out

What is it the approximate limit of items in a container before things get squirrely? I started a fresh save and have not, yet, encountered the stuttering.

Looks like @Sunderbraze discovered the approximate limit is ~8 to ~10 containers with ~100 to ~200 items or units of weight?

I do see @Higgs mentioning it is related to a bug in the fireplace inventory UI. Fun...

Higgs sez here that there is already an internal fix BUT my take on these replies is that the issue is tetchy enough to be unfit for a hotfix.

Guessing that they are testing it internally until the last minute before the next, scheduled patch.

This is way off topic, but are there ♥♥♥ matches in ranked?
Ive queued into a lobby where everyone just seemingly plays like a ♥♥♥ and has no communication whatsoever (Albeit this was like B- ~ B)

There aren't, no. This game probably should use bots to fill out matches up to A- at this point, considering so many people struggle to find games at the lower ranks and A- is basically where rated in this game begins anyway

Don't worry, thinking your teammates might be bots is something that doesn't stop at any rank in this game. I still regularly have games where we'll have a slight lead with like 35 seconds on the clock and two people on my team (who are really really smart) decide to leave cover and rush into the enemy team with like 20% HP or less

The diplomatic way to put it is that GBO2 players "defy traditional definitions of human beings". You get profoundly stupid teammates in all sorts of pvp games but I've seen things in GBO that go so many miles beyond what I've seen anywhere else. You almost start to wonder if it's some kind of performance art piece you've just stumbled upon.

I think my personal favorite is "there's 55 seconds on the bomb and 45 seconds on the clock but don't worry guys, the support left us to 4v5 so he could go defuse it". It's something that should literally never happen for anyone who didn't fail math in second grade, and yet I've still seen multiple people do this
