How the ♥♥♥♥ is detecting a controller the game can't use full controller support? It should just say "no controller support" damn the lazy automation. Full controller support should mean exactly that the game fully supports a controller. It doesn't so someone should change it in the store page because then you get people picking up the game expecting controller support *because thats exactly what it's saying on the store page* hell why are you defending it you should be just as annoyed by this error.

I may criticize Capcom a lot for the prices and monetization, but I gotta give props where the the credit is due. Capcom is the only FG developer out there who isn't afraid of adding buff female characters with unique non-generic bodies. C. Viper looks awesome! She looks quadrillion times better than that generic and uninspired new character in Tekken 8 who was teased in end of Armor King's trailer (Miary Zo) .

so you haven't answered my question. because you assert the definition of life support in the first paragraph, then state that the game is in a state that is orthogonal to that definition. then did some mental gymnastics to try to pretend you didn't troll yourself. good job. you still haven't answered my question.

Your definition of "life-support" needs life-support.

Life-support means that the software requires connection to publisher's server to run, publisher's server being the life-support. Publisher can pull the plug at any time and the game would be dead.

then you go on to say that the game does not in fact require a connection to play and can be played offline which contradicts your definition of being on "life-support".

this seems contradictory to your point that the game is on life support. it's also accurate that by your definition of "life-support" that the game isn't in that state as it can:

A) be played in offline mode
B) played in offline mode with full access to modding capabilities
C) if you want to assert that their modding tool is the condition for being on life support as it has some online aspects, i.e. to pull down new mods then why would they immediately take it away. this would be wildly out of character for id, the company that releases their engine after 2 generations have passed. next doom game DOOM (2016) will be able to have sourceports, and DOOM 3 already has at least one.

so to me it seems like you have both made a claim, contradicted yourself, on top of your original claim being completely bizarre and inaccurate. so I ask you again since you still cannot answer my question. what was your point?
