Damn straight it doesn't make sense. Nobody made that claim. OP is entitled to seek a refund for something he doesn't like and there is no issue with that, but to pretend it had a pecuniary impact is clearly false - it was refunded.

So you either you didn't read and blundered in accidentally or you did read and chose to blunder in. Unbelievably bad form. And you have the audacity to claim users are acting in 'bad faith'.

Or I read between the lines, not letting myself getting distracted by some flowery words AND understanding the basic principle of a refund, that receiving the money back does not eradicate what happened before from history.

There is a mesh (model) for the heavy armour with shoulder covers and groin plate however that's cosmetic-only in Appearance menu, it has no added protection.

All the actual full armor does, is add plates on the side of your character's chest (so it only ever covers your rib cage from the side).
It does not cover your arms in any way, not groin area, nothing but the chest.

And considering enemy AI on Standard difficulty virtually always hit you first in the leg, then in the arms (no matter of how you present yourself), losing slots over an ineffective piece of armour makes no sense.

If you want an effective "heavy" armour, grab a riot shield instead. The optiwand is borderline useless these days anyway, and C2 is the better breaching tool for most situations so you are not even compromising with that setup.

i'm not talking about the cosmetic model of full armor i am talking about the heavy armor option set to full with steel plating (the one with 11 slots)

body armor cosmetic does not mean anything its only appearance but i dont use it i just use a vest so most people i play with dont even know im wearing heavy armor full with steel plating especially if they see me just wearing a plain old vest (cosmetic only)

and riot shield is great for 2 reasons

1.) if you dont use it then your back is protected

2.) if you do use it it can be used with certain SMGs and all Pistols

but even if you don't use the riot shield, Heavy Armor gives you all around protection

if you play hard mode you'll notice the difference on protection

the only drawback to heavy armor is that you only get 11 slots for ammo, tools, grenades,
and a slower movement speed acceleration (startup movement) [This is a very minor drawback imho because once you start moving you'll move as fast as everyone else]

At first, we could run 5 clustered maps (The Island, Ragnarok, The Center, Scorched Earth, Aberration) simultaneously. No mods. We quickly added the S+ mod.

uhh thats mainly because the other 4 servers are inactive if nobody plays on them

The 5 clustered maps vs. 3 clustered maps comparion IS with no one playing on them.
