Fun fact, Lady Ada had a notorious gambling addiction, and proposed different methods of using the Babbage Engines for handicapping horse races.

For further reading I recommend "The Difference Engine", a Steampunk novel by William Gibson and Bruce Sterling.

It imagines a Victorian-Era Britain where basic computing has already been invented (and prominently features Lady Ada Byron).

faux isnt wrong though, take for instance how long people have been complaining about the jumping/bouncing zombies hmm, has that been fixed yet? no it hasnt in fact game has only become more unplayable with the addition of the new map alot with the plethora of other problems people have mentioned and yet nothing has been done about it, game stats say alot, the reviews people leave do actually say alot and whats being said isnt good yet yall dont care to seem to want to do anything about it except for give us low quality updates and things that honestly dont matter when there are more pressing things that need fixing, yall have set this image WE all see

on a side note: right now game only has 170 people playing with a 24hr peak of 227 players, all time peak was 2.5 years ago with 4,632 people more so only 66 percent of the 7,142 reviews are positive. doesnt exactly paint a very good picture.

Jumping zombies do not make the game unplayable, they are a nuisance at best. The new map is STILL in beta which is part of a game thats STILL in Early access and things have been fixed which you would know if you played the game. Most of the reviews are claims about things that are untrue by people playing for less than 15 mins.

BUT on saying that, some reviews are on the nose and the game does need a lot doing to it to make it better.

BUT, i still don't get why some people need to haunt the forums and say the same old tired doom and gloom things over and over again on a game thats not finished yet. other than giving another repeated negative opinion what is the goal?

I'm starting to get the severe feeling that the Devs DO NOT play this game. The vast majority of the patch notes sound absolutely terrible. Noone wants the worm to do more. It's there it will get you and thats all it needs to do. Penta shields is ok for an edge case thats already been defeated by normal means.

The Devs need to put content in this game and stop listening to the same handful of closed beta streaming testers that also sent New World down the tubes. They are confused and easily entertained. You can't take a long term grind game and just do what some streamer who isnt gonna play after 3 weeks says you can do to make his 40 hours on this game good. I love some of those guys but they trash games with industry leading advice that they will never see the downfalls of. You have a pvp ganking issue because the DD is wide open and empty. theres maybe 5 places in the entire thing you need to ever go to and everyone is gonna be there. there are 0 secrets to be hunted picking through these tiles. theyre small and empty and that needs to be your #1 priority. Instead you saw people having fun with 3 toys and decided to take 2 away. Please formulate a plan that isn't kneejerk reactions and make the end game as good as the Hagga game. Stop copy pasting.
