Valve does not have the right to fix bugs a map, only modify files to fix a workshop submission itself.

Then it hits the open beta, someone complains they're getting booted, and that's that.

..because the lower limit on the ping has been removed. It's a package of settings, and they are removed once the game is in open beta. Because the people responsible think internet lag doesn't exist. They also think that the connection smoothing/prediction doesn't add latency, because only nerds care about logic or computer science.

You can lag for seconds, have extreme packet loss, and still stay connected to the game. The only way you get disconnected from the game is if you lose the connection to the EA stats and login servers.

If you are talking about the 2021 re-release, Options -> Display -> set Model Interpolation: OFF.

If you are using modern sourceports (Quakespasm, vkQuake, Ironwail), some of them have similar options. Or you can use r_lerpmodels 0 and r_lerpmove 0.

It feels like most builds aren’t viable: around 80% of stuff is trivial. Unlike Warcraft 3, where you could win with combined forces, this plays more like StarCraft 2 but with Warcraft 3 units used in a StarCraft 2 way.

yeah thats why i left. devs need to adjust their mob spawns per map. superflag and eradicate missions are pants on head stupid how it handles enemy reinforcements. the laziest method possible...
