The game will be upgraded to UE5.6 in the next update (currently in UE5.4).. this will come with some bug fixes and we should see some improvements in how the game renders in assets

Something to try regardless >

For General Performance Improvements and bug reduction try this bit of PC/Game maintenance, wont hurt

- Delete your Config folder to reset all settings (Do this every time after every major Update or Change of Version)

How to Delete the Config folder

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Open File Explorer.
3. Click the address bar at the top.
4. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
5. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
6. Open the "Saved" folder.
7. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults, may also improve performance
8. Start the game.

Settings will have to be adjusted again

Also:

- Verify the game in Steam

- Update your GPU Driver (use the manufacturers website) and Windows OS to the latest version

- Delete Steam Cache (Steam Settings > Downloads > Clear Download Cache - may take a couple of game restarts to get the full benefit)

- Hitting APPLY in Settings once your Dino has loaded into the game, this can reactivate "stuck" settings that may help with performance

- Capping your FPS also helps with stability, for example if you mostly get 80fps in game, set the cap to 60fps.. this will help with frame pacing, stuttering, and overheating issues

Said this once, will say this again. 5.6 Wont magically improve end user performance.

My condolences on losing Loki. You gave him all the love he could ever hope for. Please, take some time to heal further if need be.

i think the lack of new Macro blocks is whats missing most in this update! I also use an external macro and it really puts the "Idle" back into the game! I was refining all night, bought a few upgrades when I woke up and now am back to refining. I cant imagine doing all those 1000s of loops manually! 😵

Of course there might be something I am missing, but reaching 1M RfP with a cycle income of 238 RfP is just tedious! If thats intended, they were really honest with calling it a Grind!

Please god no, the macro blocks are one of the worst features in the game, we do not need more features besides Unity that lack proper automation features in favor of forcing us to make our own macros on this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ system.

Not a bad idea. The menus in general are a bit of a mess after having crowbarred in so many extra items over the years - I'd like to eventually give them all an overhaul at some point, including controller assignment.
