So, yeah Dark Ages with no raytracing would have taken (im guessing) anything from half a year to a full year longer....

And I think most people would have been fine with waiting, and to the people using the recent Wolfenstein games as an example that comparison only works if dark ages sold well regardless of the hardware requirements, it didn't hence why the shake up happening at I'd.

what performance mod? cause sometimes people have something they think is performance based, but it indeed changes monster stats, player stats, etc.

I think the mod used is FPS related, not sure if it has anything to do with the status but I don't think so.

IT falls under STEM. The issue is, almost all IT is just grunt work that pays like ♥♥♥♥.

Unless you excel at you schooling and make good connections, you're going to be doing that work for about 1/3 of your career.

Oh yeah, the grunts make terrible pay, but that applies to most sectors. Most of my IT clients have PhD's or advanced degrees in data science and are specifically employed in AI development or have their own AI startups. They make almost as much as surgeons.

Surgeons and medical specialists, that's a whole different level of making bank though.

Depends on the hospital lol.

Most the money will be made in private practice but it takes decades before that even becomes an option lol.

But yeah, STEM with PhDs can make bank.
