To make the game slow down even more with lower FPS? Almost all games released on UE5 are ‘failures’, primarily due to their disgusting performance.

When I started I didn't know about the safe spot so I went naked parked the vehicle nearby, so it was about gathering some and running to the vehicle with Bene Gesserit dash and then store the sand, I got eaten by the worm a few times but got all the sand I needed back then.

Now with orni you land on the spot, gather some sand and when the worm gets angry you move to another spot and gather more sand.

This is what I don't get. People always expose or make Youtube videos about bugs that actually benefits them. Flour sand gone. Looting abandoned bases gone (now pve players crying about base decay taking forever and they can't loot abandoned bases). There's more bugs that benefits players that most people don't know about and I won't even mention it cause it benefits me too.

The bugs and shortcuts erode the game play. One might not do a lot of harm, but stack enough of them together and you are basically left with a game that consists of an I win button. Not much point in playing at that point.

For instance, IMO the big problem with the npc/fief console wasn't palyers taking out decaying bases, it is that it trivialized resource gathering.

No, when you move, you will always spawn by the part of the map border that was connected to the map you were just at, and the rival territory configuration will adjust so that you're near unclaimed hexes.
E.g. LR is connected to Amethyst by the southeast corner (I think), so when you come to and fro between those two maps, you'll end up in that southeast corner of Amethyst because that is where LR connects.
Note that LR seems to not make complete sense in relation to the other maps because the devs still wanted LR to be a bit of a mystery place without any real logical connections to the realistic Yellowstone maps.

I'd generally just encourage you to explore wherever you wish. When you leave a map, your territory will stay, though it will decay over time if you're not back. I think on the map panel, on the bottom left, there are several square indicating what maps are where relative to each other in Yellowstone, and you could probably deduce from that where on those maps you'll end up. This does not apply to LR, as far as I know, since on LR, that particular panel is covered by a big '?' but that might have changed after recent updates.

Personally, I just want more non-human starring games, in general. And a lot of the alternate skins are surprisingly colorful, given the genre. The only thing I wish the characters had was more expression. They're a bit too static.

About the static facial animations.

From what it seems like to me, it looks like they don't have many facial bone structures for 99% of the cast.

Erwin has a mouth animation for her lobby animation but that's as far as we got in facial animations outside of eye blinking.

When the game first entered Early Access and I hopped into it, there was a rare loading bug in which the character's head wouldn't properly load so you'd have a dark mannequin head for a moment. Deep lore confirmed: All the Valiants are shadow people wearing masks and fursuits.

Animation in general is lacking. Tails are incredibly floppy outside pre-made animations like lobby stuff and full sprints. We all know how problematic the Jello chests are through clothing. It really kills immersion for "Oh, this is an animal that is person-shaped".

I get it too sometimes for about 30 seconds

Still crashes here.

Ryzen 7 9800X3d + 32 GB RAM + RTX 4070. Lowered specs (from the highest, to just high), still crashes.
Updated to latest driver, 580.88 to 580.97, latest game patch. Same. Didn't downgrade to the previous driver to 580.88 though.

In another thread, it was mentioned a GPU memory leak, like exceeded VRAM limit.

It usually happens in a CG to gameplay transition, or non-controllable part to a gameplay one.
Hope a hotfix is released.

Getting on a roof that is intended to accessible be within the play area: Yes, this belongs in BF and any BF player will welcome maps with legitimate roof access with open arms; we love that ♥♥♥♥.

Exploiting various game mechanics and development flaws/oversights to access areas not intended to be accessed within the playarea (as evidenced by the lack of natural ways up; the map doesn't even have air vehicles to allow parachuting/dropoffs, untextured assets or faces to lower rendering costs as they are not meant to be seen from that angle/position, misshapen collisions, holes into the skybox, etc):

Literally cheating and breaches EAs ToS in multiple ways.
Especially the streamers who knowingly reveal and abuse the exploits on stream for everyone else to then go and abuse.

The people abusing this are cancerous as hell, and your attitude sums it up perfectly as the self-indulgent, self-centred and inconsiderate conduct it is. You can spin it and justify it however you want... at the end of the day it is knowing and deliberate abuse of exploits... aka: cheating.

Hmm.. So yeah, Barotrauma is as you say a similar game and a game we have drawn inspiration from in certain areas.
I think the closest game that comes to mind is Deep Rock Galactic, another game we have been inspired by and have found incredibly fun.
But it is 4 players and also not a roguelite per se.. But it hits with its strong procedural generation and excellent team dynamics.

Hope this sparks a bit of motivation. Otherwise, there might be others to jump in with great suggestions.
