really great thread, not sure why bethesda hasn't cut down on loading screens, they had plenty of time and the money to do it. not surprised to see the same suspects defending outdated technology is 2025.

I want a Battlefield where the soldiers are just making grunting noises like Jon Bernthal in The Punisher. That is what a war game should be like.

I quit DF months before BF6 beta was even coming out. Game just got old and the EFT clone mode is nothing but cheaters. I don't think you guys understand this is a BF3 and 4 successor. Those games to this day are still played and loved. Its about time EA let Dice go back to their roots.

IMO 2-player mode will mostly be populated by prebuilt pairs of players. Also, it came out too late - majority got used to playing trios (not to mention it's easier).

Trying to use an xbox controller and it is connected and works on other games. Have tried any basic fixes I see online, any tips??

I do think something needs to change with the hatch. In DBD's current state if you eliminate the 3rd survivor you not only have to find the hatch before the last survivor does but if you close it you have to then check both gates and if you don't have mobility you will lose that every time. Killers are forced to slug the 3rd now if they simply want a better chance to 4k and I don't think thats a good thing. If the hatch system didn't work so much in favor of survivors I don't think killers would feel the need to do this, but you also don't want something that removes any way for the last survivor to have a chance.

i think removing hatch is fine. as long as we can abandon freely at 2 people

Sure, and let killer freely leave when its just 1 gen left and all survivors are still alive

Happens to me sometimes too, only affects roads. I have a 12gb card, system settings showing around 6gb used so I don't think it's VRAM.

Only happens very occasionally though, save and re-load seems to fix it.
