The mines will only collect from what is directly under them, so if you place them on only one tile, they'll only collect from that one tile, not the rest of the deposit. The number of tiles under the mines does not affect production rate, only how long they will keep mining for as the more tiles under them, the longer they can keep mining.

If you're an American, you should know this that Manufacturing is tied in with Freight/mailing companies. Worked for them over 20 years.

Actually, there is no law that dictates a private business must close down for a federal holiday. Only federal businesses.

Even then, it isn't all federal businesses either. Government businesses can still run but usually are required to give holiday pay. Which is essentially overtime pay for the whole shift.

any of the ogres. but greasus specifically shines in co op IMO because of his tyrants demands. if you aren't near your friends, but they need assistance, you can use your bribe demand to remove all units in an enemy army. you can use another tyrant demand that stops the movement of an army. this one is incredibly useful and only on a 5 turn cooldown.

you can also do some cheeky "teleportation" with greasus so you can actually "move" to your friends areas and conquer alongside them. you can use greasus tyrant demand that buys a city from another faction, and then you can recruit lords at the city you bought. use those lords to put down camps and recruit an army from the camp.

I'm not really knowledgeable on gaming on Mac but this game technically only has a Windows version, and from what I've seen you only have a handful of options to try and run it on MacOS; namely CrossOver, Parallels, and Apple's own Game Porting Toolkit (apparently based on CrossOver). I've seen conflicting information about Proton for Mac, so it might have been discontinued or still be a work in progress (Proton is what's used on Linux to act as a compatibility layer for Windows games).

In any case, with the remaining options, you might need to dig around and tinker a bit to get the game to work. In the absolute worst case, you should be able to refund the game as long as you play less than two hours within fourteen days of purchase (as per Steam's policies).
