Honestly Canaan. Once you deal with the locals its just a gloomy earth like, But to be clear you would have to deal with them either if it is going be to be more then a few people coming over. If you plan to evac all the survivors you would probably have to go all military take over but they are not the live and live sort of people in canaan,

I want to love this game, I really do. But when I tried to play it, I felt that it harshly penalized my preferred play-style.

My favorite aspect of the game was the randomized maps and events, and I liked exploring the various clearings and dealing with the problems and opportunities presented. But as I got deeper into the game, and increased the complexity, I felt like this play-style was harshly penalized.

It felt like I had to go into each map with a specific game-plan, and I had no choice but to execute that plan ASAP, without much deviation, if I wanted to succeed. The resources I used to win the map might change, but the basic plan was the same. In playing to mitigate risk and variation, which seemed necessary, it also felt so restrictive to me that it removed the fun of being on a randomized procedural map.

Has that changed at all? I'd love to give this game another chance.

is is a common occurrence for the game to a long period of time to start? it says its running but nothing is happening even after 5 minutes.

What is wrong with you people? The game was released, bug fixes were pushed out and the devs moved on. Why do you think this should be updated forever? Is this a live service game? Why do you expect them to release content forever? What exactly do you want?

honestly, it really depends on the surv who utilize it, I play both sides and most of them just activate when the killer gets really close and sit around in the fog, but when I play killer; they make distance and if you manage to see them well enough, its not that strong lol. They're a niche item to play around.
