So many gamers will never get to hear the majestic Mahou Daisakusen orchestral remix soundtrack, one of the very best, the game is also one of my favourite shottrigger titles. It's currently stuck on US/Japan PSN stores. I would love to see all of their releases on pc but it's very very unlikely to ever happen.

You are 100% free, right now to "rule" over anything. I enjoy PVP, last night I ran two full buggies of aluminum, 2 assaults of jazmium, two full scout cargo of titanium and strat (never had anyone fire a shot at me on a high pop server), 2 assaults of bodies for the deathstills, upgraded our base, sold some components at the player market, refined ALL the aluminum (much when I went to bed) made 150ish plastanium, refined 2 loads of medium spice, harvested a few small patches in hagga, surveyed the A line in the DD so I can find wrecks etc faster, and god knows what else.

I did 100% PVE with about 10% of that time in a PVP zone.

The only difference between you and me is, I'm not afraid to lose a thopter (worst case) but thats easy to replace, and I am able to figure out how to get resources without getting killed, but that does require some thinking like a PVPer, which perhaps your identity probably prevents you from doing.

Most PVPers are just PVEers who enjoy some competition with other thinking enemies, and don't worry about losing some pixels they can easily replace and have no value to them beyond pixels.

It's not your fault that you don't get why people play the way they want.

Starfinder has a less serious tone than Pathfinder. The TRPG itself had a trailer released in the recent days for better or worse.

You CAN play serious campaigns with the system, but officially it's much more light. You are fighting opressive corporations, undead interstellar empires, cosmic horrors... while a spell plays your theme song and heals you, and another spell searches information about your enemies on the internet. You could most likely build the exact GotG team in the system, especially when some expansions come up.

For the earlier comments: I agree that not every RPG should be like te MCU. But, currently we have a lot of good crpg games, and for dark sc-fi another 40k title is coming up, we have indies like Colony Ship, so I welcome a bit less seriousness added to the mix. But I hope it won't be idiotic.

Starfinder was plenty serious. It only became comedic recently as more and more players started to goof around with Skittermander characters and Paizo leaned into that.

Damn it! I was looking forward to multiplayer so much. I can't imagine how anyone could screw it up this bad? Like just put two teams on a map with some flags ffs, it's not rocket science.

And the fact there's only voip for skirmish 6v6 games is beyond me...

Tbf, the only reason why Warband's MP worked is because at the time, people had enough honor to not spam the ever loving ♥♥♥♥ out of the archer class. When you take that honor in consideration, none of the factions are really that much better or worse than one another that skill becomes optional

Even if people care enough about using melee weapons in Bannerlord, Vlandia's the best at everything, Aserai and Sturgia suck at fighting armored opponents, and Empire's starter unit only exists to feed kills to the enemy.

TaleWorlds in their infinite wisdom chose to listen to the sore losers that said "OP units should stay OP", and in realizing their mistake, chose to abandon the multiplayer mode, rather than make any amount of effort in course-correcting
