while i agree with the OP sentiment, OP, you do NOT have to worry that gaming will EVER die out. there are too many indie teams that get really rich from making awesome games. big AAA productions are definitely in a bit of trouble atm, but i dont think thats a bad thing, because quality / originality has suffered in many games and i think this will help the industry.

Hey all - my game crashes every 10 or so minutes but I can't figure out a fix. Here are my specs if anybody has any ideas!

i9-12900K
MSI MPG Z790 EDGE WIFI (MS-7D91)
NVIDIA RTX 4070
64GB DDR5 DIMM Corsair

I don't know what to do. I can see the overlay on other games just not this one. I tried big picture, I tried turning steam on in accessibility settings, many posts online mention modding as an issue but I have not modded the game at all. What do I do?

They just buffed him an hour or two ago but this guy feels so weak. Even with extended stamina and making use of forward momentum it's difficult to chain his skills. It's also incredibly easy to parry him at higher ranks

I played some of the demo and didn't like it very much. I was wondering if later parts of the game or the full game are substantially different — the game seems much beloved so I'd hate to miss out on it because I was misled by the demo. I

f the full game and later parts are actually like the demo, I guess the game just isn't for me, but I hope you all keep enjoying it!

But just in case you didn't check everything after all, have a look at:

-your ssd/hdd
-your netcard may be weak or attached to slow pcie slot. or you may not have any netcard at all, instead you use the wi fi prebuild into your motherboard which are often ♥♥♥♥
-general cpu/gpu issues

I have checked it all. Everything is solid and has been double checked. I've rebooted the pc, left it off for a few days, and have played other games. Elden Ring is the only game where I have these issues. My other games don't even drop frame rate, let alone have any type of connection issues. Its specifically this game.

Bragging that you bought the ultimate edition of a game that is universally agreed to have stopped evolving over 10 years ago is probably the saddest thing I've read in a long time. Imagine being happy that you're so indoctrinated that you'll hand over your cash for the lowest effort slop imaginable. Not only are you happy about it but you'll BRAG about being so easy to impress that you'll buy the more expensive version of a game that sucks and has sucked for ages.

That's sad. I feel sorry for you like... Legitimately. There's no need to reply as theres just no defending this behaviour that I'll accept other than you're a shareholder, dev or have recently had some major brain accident.

I bought the Ultimate Edition on Steam and PS5 and I already have EA Play Pro.
