You're wasting your time being unhappy that the game with obvious things you don't like, obviously had the things you don't like.

Certainly shows your "general sense of happiness and contentment" is actually very low if complaining about popular game mechanics is what you prefer to do, rather than anything better. Like finding a game you enjoy more.

You might want to be specific, because the game does have a tutorial but you seem to referencing a quest of some sort, which are tutorials technically, not to the game, but to the mechanics you will need to use at some point.

For example the Jackal boss is also the tutorial for the parazon system and multistage bosses.

The idea of operator is to contrast these unbeatable warframes you're so used to, a vulnerability to your "invencibility", but while they move and attack in rather cluncky ways, they actually have some uses that you can use, on the top of my head i can recall healing warframes around you, going invisible and even being able to prevent certain death on your warframe since when you're using operator mode your warframe receives 90% damage reduction.

You might also need to use them alongside other mechanical constructs because certain situations disable your warframe, they disable your Operator - Warframe connection.

So like any grind, early on you're worthless but you can change that and adapt said gameplay to complement your warframe gameplay and that ultimately makes you stronger
