Hi all 👋

If The Callisto Protocol refuses to launch (black screen, crash at startup, nothing happens...), I found a solution that worked for me:

👉 Add -dx12 in the game's launch options.

How to do it

Go to your Steam library.

Right-click on The Callisto Protocol > Properties.

In the General tab, find Launch Options.

Simply type: -dx12

Close the window and relaunch the game.

Since I did this, the game starts without problems. 🎮 This forces the game to use DirectX 12, which can solve some bugs related to DirectX 11.

Here it is in english due to using the built-in translator for my browser, something which Valve would need to pay in order to implement.

How do you know the reports did nothing? seems to me you wanted a bit of a power trip to see/know people are getting punished on your behalf.

Im pretty convinced the game tries to counter your builds most of the times. Then throw like
2-3 free wins so you get the feeling 'ah that was close one, next game'. I mean I am 8 wins, then starts to throws 3 mak matchups in a row. I barely beat first counter matchup then lose 2 in a row, silver victory yay. I can't be the only one

Looking to play this game for the first time with someone. Anyone?

The fall off of this franchise is so real. How did something so awesome become so cringe?

Its rather annoying to finally find an alusive rescource like graphite. Build a whole rail there drop a miner on it. Just to find it has 10% green bar.
A passive upgrade or tool attachment would be nice.
