Hey girls and guys :)

After playing and learning every day for a long time, I started creating a custom game in X4: Foundations to suit my needs. I’m playing as a pirate, and my HQ is in the backyard of the Teladi near a Xenon gate. I installed many mods to improve my settings, like weapon rebalance.

My setup is the Barbarossa ship and HQ. I’ve played three complete new games so far, and I get destroyed the moment a Mint fleet (Ministry of Teladi) detects me. Those little stingrays completely wipe me and my HQ to dust.

Aaaand OMG, I have so much fun. I don’t know if this sounds weird to you, but X4 just needs to be a bit harder, and the fun doubles.

The second thing I’m playing around with is ChatGPT. I know many people have complaints and fears about it, I’m a very old guy who started gaming in the ’80s, and for me, ChatGPT is also a kind of game—or better, a sandbox game. My favorite games back then were ASCII dungeon role-playing games and text adventures.I asked ChatGPT to create a game like that for me. It turned out to be so much fun. ChatGPT acts as the dungeon master: it draws ASCII maps for me and explains everything I see and what happens. I have an inventory and the usual RPG stuff like stats and a rulebook of AD&D.

In my last playthrough, I killed an orc and got some credits. Then I saved the game by telling ChatGPT to generate a text prompt so I can play another day on a different instance of ChatGPT. Tons of fun, no hesitation!

having the same issue, wished there was a way to update the unity client within the game folder to try fixing it

Probably a dumb question, but how do you use this attachment? Took it to the testing range and noticed no difference with it equipped.
