minidump.dmp
Hi, I'm just wondering if it's safe to delete minidump.dmp from the Steam folder, I'm just cleaning up around my pc because I barely have any space and not many games installed right now.

I do not really recommend deleting anything inside the Steam folder, is that a big file?
In honest opinion, no. It might trigger a bigger landmine and destroy your pc.
I believe that Steam will just re-create it as soon as needs it again.

I strongly recommend cleaning up your Steam folder.
The SteamApps folder in particular. Lots of games still leave data behind when they're deleted. Sometimes downloads aren't successfully deleted from the folder. Each game install will put a copy of VCredist and DirectX setup on your system which is only needed for the installation and after that is dead weight. Also soundtracks or other bonus materials and manuals can be savely deleted if you don't care about them.

Edit:
Just did it myself and freed up 3 GB with 2.3GB Bonus content of one game I still have to process.
So, to the OP: check your SteamApps folders. Pretty much every _CommonRedist can be deleted.

Try moving it first. If everything runs fine, then you can delete it, if something isn't working right, you can put it back.
They're crash dump files, they contain memory state which can help the developers to track down bugs. Feel free to delete them.
Lol sorry guys I haven't replied I refreshed my pc because Windows Update wouldn't work XD So I guess I already deleted it XD
