- Off topic thread can be locked because going... off topic.
- Threads lasting a few years, now get locked "to avoid confusion" after 3 months since last post, when they had 4+ months delays earlier without problem.
Maybe better lock it to avoid further confusion
However, if there is anything I'd complain about, whats said here covers it well.

Steam the platform makes decent money, yes? and I can probably go through and identify that steam has at least 5 moderator staff. I've spoken with a few of them, can probably go count the many names I've gotten but the point is its at least a hand full of people overseeing the forum.
or is it that handful who oversees the entirety of steam? I know some companies are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and do that sort of ♥♥♥♥, using a skeleton crew if they can get away with it, less labor cost means more money overall.
Ultimately though, its we who suffer for it. It would be helpful to know if its just bad conflict resolution policies or a desperate attempt to mitigate open conflicts so as to keep work load down due to lack of labor.
Over 40 support moderator accounts by my last count. More being created each month.
New accounts made specifically for the new moderator staff. Just like any other user account except with moderator privileges.
Good. well, 40 is quite a lot... I know some forum moderation is algorithmic too, so like... why?

Who do you think these people are, bots?:

They're Valve employees.
EDIT:
...and they were actually here BEFORE the volunteer mods were retired,
Steam Commnunity literally means something directly pertinent to the Steam community. So something about how steam works, things or actions within the Steam platform and so on.
If you're in doubt, stick it in Off Topic. Done.
Someone above said
so are you sure about it being about the community on steam platform?
