Literally everyday I see different people with almost identical Plague Doctor steam avatar, I assume mostly teenagers.
Same as overall Anime Avatars hype on steam - i assume this is from one of anime series?
I doubt anyone cares for Ghost band amongst them, as Fake mentioned earlier.
ou say that everyone in your circle is using them, and yet you post here and another group of peoople responsing don't use it. Think about why that is.
It's because people are different and like different things.
Your circle you hang around in are likely based on the same game(s) you're playing, which may mean they are of common circumstances, age or region to you (within certain parameters). So they will quite likely have similar tastes.
And yet coming to these forums, many of us here are regular posters who have been doing this for many years, so a lot of us are older. SO we WON'T have the same sort of tastes. Simples, eh?
For example, I do voluntary work at a certain major music festival. It appeals to all ages from the toddlers with their families, to the teens seeking rite of passage out of home, to the retirees and disabled like myself.
I always nose at what people are into each year. Last several years, many blokes of about middle age will often sport a top hat with biker goggles around the rim. That's what they are all seemingly into.
About ten years ago, everybody of twenty-something age was wearing those daft plastic sunglasses with blinds as lenses.
Horses for courses and all that. Studying society can be fascinating.
I do see the PFP a lot especially in TF2. Not a lot on my friends list so I was just wondering why is was such a popular PFP to use!
Some people in this thread have no idea and others have experienced the same as OP and me. I'm starting to see it everywhere and it's very strange.
Pareidolia is powerful.
