a lot of people cannot handle these much filter options.
so easy statement: some filter settings hide the games.
but...
the search function of the library ignores those filters.
so the fastest way to sanity check the existence of some game in your library is: use the search.

games are bound to your account, not your computer.
so i only need access to your account to remove games from your library.
the function to (not) permanently remove games from your account is web accessible for free and paid subscriptions
Have you gone to support, searched for one by name and selected "It's not in my library" as the problem?
You would have to know what games they were to see if they are still on steam or just a simple counting issue.
Didn't both of those just come to Steam thia year?
EA has only recently brought a lot of Origin exclusives back to Steam
